Disc Golf
When I moved to Austin, TX, in 2023, I discovered the locally popular sport of disc golf and quickly became obsessed! At least three times a week you'll find me out throwing at one of Austin's many excellent courses.
Swimming
I have also recently discovered the joy of swimming - most likely related to Austin's beautiful gem: Barton Springs Pool. As one woman put it one day when we were changing after a swim, "Isn't it wonderful? I am just a nicer person after I have gone swimming."
Cycling
Though I haven't switched to clipless pedals yet, I am out regularly savoring the bikeable trails of Austin — always wearing a helmet!
